Top 10 tools for International Student Markets

Over the last few years researching and tracking international student markets have become easier. Patience and smart use of search engines will pay off here.

One tip: some of the best resources are “papers” given at various conferences. This usually means they are in powerpoint or PDF format. A savvy researcher will often find resources faster by adding the Google tag filetype into their queries.

Eg Don’t just insert “international student markets” in Google. See what happens when you run it as: <”International student markets” filetype:ppt>

Four years later Marginson develops his themes with fresh data and an even sharper analysis. A great primer on globalisation and education as well indicating that Australia’s chief advantage over other countries lies with safety overtaking quality and price.

Impact of the Bologna Accord on Management Education - 2005
Kai Peters and Rebecca Loades offer an informed overview and analysis of the accord and explain its impact globally - another powerpoint presentation.
