40% student visa abuse in Malaysia

Malasia’s Home Minister, Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad’s estimates some 16,000 foreign students are fakes as the Higher Education Ministry had put their population at about 40,000, according to Sun2Surf.

Radzi said some of these students come with the sole intention to work as the immigration levy for students is only RM90. But if they come here to work, the levy is more than RM1,000.
